When performing blepharoplasty of the upper eyelid, Dr. Kole makes an imperceptible incision in the upper eyelid crease. These incisions are made in such a way that they will heal into a thin virtually hidden scars in the upper eyelid crease. During the eyelid surgery blepharoplasty of the lower eyelids, Dr. Kole makes a small incision on the inside of the eyelid, which results in no external scar whatsoever – the incision is ‘invisible’ or a small scar immediately under the lash line when there is extra skin and fat of the lower lid that needs to be removed.
