During a male upper eyelid blepharoplasty, the excess skin, muscle and fatty tissue that have created the sad, droopy, hooded or tired appearance are removed through an incision hidden in the crease of the upper eyelid. For men with little or no extra skin with fat pockets, Dr. Kole performs ‘invisible’ lower eyelid surgery where the incision is hidden inside the lower eyelid so there is not visible external incision. For patients with significant extra fat bulges and weak lower eyelid muscles an incision immediate under the lashes is performed.
