Philadelphia area plastic surgeon Dr. Edward S.Kole has a tremendous amount of experience helping the people of Bucks County, Montgomery County and the Philadelphia area remove stubborn fat deposits that won’t respond to diet and exercise.
The traditional approach to removing excess fat is liposuction. But for the people who don’t wish to undergo anesthesia or don’t have the time for recovery, then non-invasive fat removal with CoolSculpting is for you.
Developed by scientists at Harvard University, CoolSculpting is an FDA-approved fat removal body contouring procedure that uses cold to freeze away fat cells in the treatment area. These frozen fat cell then die under the skin and are naturally removed from your body over the next several weeks.
Kole Plastic Surgery can evaluate your area of excess unwanted areas of fat and let you know if CoolSculpting is right for you. CoolSculpting is ideal for bulges in your abdomen, love handles, male breasts, arms, thighs and back fat and bra fat areas.
If you live in the Philadelphia area and you want to learn more about how CoolSculpting can eliminate stubborn unwanted deposits of fat, please call the Kole Plastic Surgery Center at 215-354-1010 today.
What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is completely non-surgical. The procedure is performed by:
- The small cooling suction headpiece is placed over the excess fat over a protective gel pad.
- When the device is activated, it will pull the skin and pad up between two cooling pads.
- The pads then get cool to numb your skin and target the fat cells in the treatment area
The fat cells naturally die and then your body will naturally flush out the unwanted fat cells.
Each treatment cycle takes only one hour and you are completely awake. There is no anesthesia, no needles, no pain and no recovery.
What are the Advantages of CoolSculpting?
Most patients who are candidates for liposuction are also candidates for CoolSculpting. Liposuction and CoolSculpting are both not weight loss procedures but are used for removal of excess unwanted fat
CoolSculpting’s advantages include:
