What Is Breast Augmentation?
Breast augmentation is the enlargement and enhancement of breasts. The enlargement creates a fuller appearance, while enhancement involves lifting the breasts to correct a sagging appearance that usually happens as women age or after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
How Is Breast Augmentation Performed?
Breast augmentation can be performed in a couple of different ways. One way is by creating an incision under the breast and making a pocket deep into the breast tissue or chest muscle. The implant is then placed behind the breast tissue or muscle into the pocket. Another option is by placing the incision in the axillary (armpit) area or the areola area (around the nipple). The surgery takes about one hour to complete.

Our new plastic surgery office and ambulatory surgery center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as an Ambulatory Surgery Center. We are centrally located on Street Road in Southampton so we are able to offer services to the Horsham, PA area. We are a completely outpatient private facility where you can have your plastic surgery procedures performed and then recover in the comfort of your own home.
