Should I wait until after I have kids to have breast implant surgery?

Medical studies have shown that breast implant surgery doesn’t prevent women from successfully breastfeeding as the breast implants are usually placed below the breast tissue and below the muscle. If you are urgently planning to have a baby, it’s probably best to delay your breast implant procedure because pregnancy and breastfeeding will likely affect the ultimate size and shape of your breasts and areolas and may change the size of the implant you may need. If you do not plan to have children in the near future, you may want to weigh the pros and cons of waiting. While this decision is personal, Dr. Kole would be happy to discuss it with you at your consultation.
